Place one drop of fir needle in a very warm (not boiling!) bowl of water. Gently position your head over the bowl and cover with a towel for no more than 5 minutes, keeping eyes closed. Relax and let the fir needle aroma penetrate down into your lungs. Be cautious not to use this technique with small children, and take care to avoid burning yourself with the warm water.
