Plant Therapy Dai Dai Flower Essential Oil
Grown in the Anhui, Fujian, and Guangdong provinces of China, Dai Dai flowers are in bloom for only a short time every year, and with a relatively low yield. This oil is a rare treasure.
Dai Dai is a cultivar of Citrus aurantium, from which Neroli is derived, and is similar in chemical makeup and fragrance. Rich in linalool and linalyl acetate, it offers a calming effect on mood and helps relieve nervous tension.
It can also assist with hunger management and promote a sensual, romantic atmosphere. Dai Dai is great for skin care. It helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and aging, and is soothing to irritated skin. This essential oil has a rich floral scent with citrusy overtones, making it the perfect addition to perfumes, lotions, scented blends, and more.
The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.
