This is a USDA Certified Organic essential oil. Organic Clove Bud's distinct, long-lasting aroma makes this a perfect oil for passive diffusion. Add to your passive diffuser or potpourri, like dried pinecones and herbs.

Aromatic: Diffuse using 1-2 drops per 100 mL water.
Topical: Dilute to a maximum of 0.5% in a carrier.

This essential oil can be a potential skin irritant if too much is applied topically. To use safely, a 0.5% dilution in a carrier oil is recommended, which is approximately four drops per ounce of carrier oil. You can also dip a toothpick in Clove Bud, then swirl it around in your carrier oil or essential oil blend to impart its warm, spicy qualities.

The International Federation of Aromatherapists does not recommend that Essential Oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy. All cautions listed for individual oils do not include those cautions from ingestion.
