This oil is protective on more than one front. Aromatherapists, Parker and Price, extol the rejuvenating properties of the oil, especially as an emollient for dry skin, but it was interestingly developed as a crop to help replace sperm whale oil, extending its protective qualities into wildlife protection [1, 2]. Unlike many thicker oils, Meadowfoam oil is actually non-greasy as well as being quite stable. It quickly absorbs into the skin, its moisturizing capabilities leaving your skin silky and soft. It will serve as a lovely addition to both facial and hair preparations.
